Work as a presenter began for David Ellery when he became part of the team at Spire FM Radio in Salisbury. Here he worked freelance as the station’s Motoring Correspondent. He wrote and presented a weekly motoring feature covering anything from consumer advice to reports from the National Motor Show.

At around the same time Ellery completed his first voice-over for a full-length TV documentary. Since then he has narrated a wide range of factual programmes and series as well as educational programmes Online and on DVD for schools across the UK.

David also has wide experience of live presentation having worked extensively for P&O Cruises as a guest presenter. In this role he has written and presented more than 70 live shows to audiences aboard the cruise line’s luxury ships on a range of themes, many focusing on maritime history. He was also tasked with hosting a number of themed cruises for P&O Cruises, during which he presented and managed a team of guest contributors.

For network television Ellery was part of the presentation team for The Great British Home Movie Roadshow, on BBC TWO.
